Transfer Talk:Chelsea agree €73M for Roma's Alisson

Chelsea and Roma have reportedly agreed a fee in the region of €73 million for Alisson.

According to reports from Centro Suono Sport, the Blues have agreed to meet Roma’s asking price for the player. The fee is said to be €65 million up front with a further €8 million in bonuses. The player has already accepted a €5.5m contract offer from the club, as he prepares to replace Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge. Real Madrid and Liverpool have both been heavily linked with a move for Alisson, who enjoyed a standout season for Roma last time out. Some reports have suggested Spain would be his preferred destination, but Chelsea appear to have stolen the march on their rivals in the transfer market. Chelsea are looking for a replacement for Courtois, who is once again talking up a summer move to Spain. Courtois is keen to return to Spain to be closer to his children, with Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid the likely contenders to sign the Belgian international.
