Chelsea set to accept €75m bid from Manchester United for Willian

Mourinho reunion

Chelsea have reportedly accepted a €75million bid from Manchester United for Brazilian forward Willian who was also linked with Barcelona. The forward has been one of the players reguarly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge this summer and it looked like he was heading to the Camp Nou. The La Liga side had three bids supposedly rejected by Chelsea with the last in the region of £55million. That lead them with a decision to make as to whether to go higher or look for alternative and they swooped to sign Malcom under the noses of Roma. That has now left Willian in limbo over a move but Manchester United are another side that have long been linked with the player. His relationship with Jose Mourinho could prove to be the key but he would not come cheap and if reports today are to be believed, that’s exactly the case. As SportWitness detail, there is no mention of them citing another source but it is not clear if TuttoSport are claiming this themselves or not. Only time will tell if reports come out to confirm this information, preferably from English sources. Regardless, time will tell if Willian will still leave Chelsea or not and if he does, whether he will be heading to Man United or elsewhere.
