FA CUP:3-5-2 Chelsea XI to face United Morata out, conte expected to make changes .

The anticipation is already building for the FA Cup final, with Chelsea set to take on Man Utd on Saturday. It’s arguably the biggest date in the English football calender, and after a poor season, the onus will be on Antonio Conte to get one up on rival Jose Mourinho.

He’s found it tough to make an impact this season, and arguably much of that has been down to his team selection. He’s made some bold choices, such as not selecting Eden Hazard and Olivier Giroud against Huddersfield last week, and against the Red Devils, he can’t afford to make the same errors. In goal, Thibaut Courtois is an obvious choice, with the Belgian undoubtedly the Blues’ first choice shot-stopper. In defence, Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso are still Antonio Conte’s first choice options, and they’ve both been solid this season. Their goal threat is important, too. Between them, Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger are obvious choices, whilst Andreas Christensen deserves to start after enjoying a brilliant first season back in London. N’Golo Kante, like Courtois, is an obvious choice – having enjoyed a brilliant season once again for the Blues. Tiemoue Bakayoko has, conversely, found it tough, but he’s found form lately, and he’ll be needed to help break up play against the Red Devils. Cesc Fabregas should serve as the playmaker in this team. In the attack, given the need to bulk out the midfield, Eden Hazard is likely to play as the lone attacking midfielder, whilst in-form forward Olivier Giroud should get the nod over Alvaro Morata. Chelsea have a real chance of winning if Antonio Conte selects this team, but if they play like they did against Newcastle, the Blues stand little hope.
