Champions League: Roberto Firmino states his prediction for Real Madrid v Liverpool FC

Roberto Firmino has warned Real Madrid that Liverpool FC are ready to “fight until the end” as they prepare for the Champions League final. The Reds are gearing up for their biggest game of the season as they prepare to take on the Spanish giants in the showpiece game at the end of the month in Kiev. Liverpool FC head into the game after having secured their place in the top four last weekend thanks to a convincing 4-0 win over Brighton at Anfield. The Merseyside outfit have now switch their attentions towards their crunch clash against Real Madrid as Jurgen Klopp’s men look to prevent the Spanish side from winning the competition for the third season running. And Firmino, who has played a vital role in helping the Reds to reach the showpiece, has insisted that he is confident that the Merseyside outfit have what it takes to beat Zinedine Zidane’s men. Speaking in an interview with Uefa, Firmino said: “We know there is an equally well-qualified team on the other side. It will be a great final. “We know about Real Madrid. They are always winning titles in the Champions League and in the Spanish league too. They are a great team and are very tough to play against. “I’ve never played [against them], however I’ve watched their games and they’re very competitive. However, this is a final. “This is a final and a one-off game, a one-off moment. But they’ll also be up against, in Liverpool, a team and a club with a great pedigree. We are going to fight until the end.” Liverpool FC are still looking to win their first trophy since Klopp’s appointment at Anfield back in October 2015. The Reds have been earning huge amounts of praise for their strong performances this season under the German manager.
