EPL:Jurgen Klopp hails ‘outstanding’ Liverpool FC star Trent Alexander-Arnold

Jurgen Klopp has lavished praise on Trent Alexander-Arnold following his brilliant form for Liverpool FC in recent weeks. The 19-year-old has been a regular fixture in the first team for the Reds and he was named as the man of the match in Liverpool FC’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday. Alexander-Arnold set up Mohamed Salah for Liverpool FC’s second goal at Anfield on Saturday with a superb long-range cross. The teenager also earned huge amounts of praise for his performances for Liverpool FC in the two Champions League quarter-final ties against Manchester City this month. And Liverpool FC boss Klopp has admitted that he has been thrilled by the way Alexander-Arnold has been performing for the Reds this season. Speaking at his post-match news conference on Saturday evening, Klopp said: “I think we have all seen him grow, altogether. You see the games, you see the performances. “Because Clyney was injured, he was one of two options we had [and] we never thought about bringing in another full-back because both are very young and Joe is kind of a centre-half. “He played one game, the next game rested, then played another game and then the next game rested and stuff like that. Now he had to deliver and he has delivered; he delivered a really good game. “The problem with being that good at that young age is that your career is still so long, so on one hand side you have improve a lot and that’s how it is. “It’s all good, he is a good boy. It was an outstanding cross for the [Salah] goal.” Liverpool FC are currently in third place in the Premier League table as they look to try and secure a spot in the group stage of next season’s Champions League. The Reds will return to Premier League action next weekend when they take on West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns. They will then switch their attentions back towards Champions League affairs and their semi-final clashes against AS Roma.
