Wright:Liverpool Loosing Salah to Any other Team will be more Disastrous than loosing Coutinho to Barcelona

LIVERPOOL selling Mohamed Salah would have a far more devastating impact on the club than losing Philippe Coutinho.

The Reds finally sold Coutinho to Barcelona for £142m in January after trying in vain to keep him at the club. But Salah and Roberto Firmino have thrived in the Brazilian's absence, combining to score on a regular basic. The Egyptian star has already netted an astounding 36 goals this season and is now attracting the attention of the world's biggest clubs. Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain are reportedly sniffing around but Wright hopes Liverpool can hang on to the prolific winger. "Anyone that has come into the Premier League and scored that amount of goals, you're going to court that kind of attention," Wright said on The Debate. "I didn't think he'd have that kind of impact, but when you have had such an impact, you are going to court attention. "What clubs will have seen with Liverpool is that if you keep pressing for one of their players, you might get them in the end." Liverpool face Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-finals in April. And should they progress, they could meet Los Blancos in the semi-finals, the team who seem to be most interested in signing Salah.
"This is the problem Liverpool will have," Wright continued. "If Salah continues this kind of scoring next season, they will be courting him. "Not being disrespectful to Liverpool, but Salah won't have grown up dreaming of playing for Liverpool - if Real Madrid come knocking, he's going to be taking notice of that. "Losing Salah would be a much bigger loss than losing Coutinho."
