Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is in regular contact with Germany striker Timo Werner as the Reds plot a stunning £87.5million summer move. That is according to German outlet Bild, who say the Reds are willing to splash the cash to land the RB Leipzig forward at the end of the season. The 22-year-old has starred over the last couple of seasons in the Bundesliga, helping Leipzig emerge as a force at the top end of the German top flight. He is expected to lead the line for Joachim Low's side at the World Cup in Russia and could follow club teammate Naby Keita to Merseyside. Monaco winger Lemar has a £90million price tag on him after a series of impressive appearances for club and country. The left-sided 22-year-old starred during their Ligue 1 triumph and Champions League run last term. He netted in France's 3-2 defeat to Colombia on Friday night to take his tally for the season to six for the season in 33 outings this camapign. The Gunners attempted a last-ditch switch for Lemar on deadline day last August but were rebuffed - which forced Alexis Sanchez's potential move to Manchester City fall apart. And the Frenchman opened the door for a bidding battle when the window reopens at the end of the season. “Regrets? Maybe. I was a little disappointed,” he told Telefoot . “Once it’s over, it’s over, so do not think about it. “I will keep working hard so these clubs will eventually come back in the next transfer window. I am open to all offers. I am a football player, I like football. I do not close any door.”
