Jose to Call back Paul Pogba in Manchester United’s XI for Champions League clash with Sevilla

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is set to start in the club’s last-16 Champions League second leg clash against Sevilla at Old Trafford tonight. The Frenchman missed Saturday’s 2-1 win against Liverpool after sustaining a kick in the ‘very last minute’ of Friday’s training session. Pogba didn’t train with his team-mates on Monday but participated in a session indoors by himself as United prepare to host the La Liga club after a 0-0 draw in Spain a fortnight ago. Scott McTominay started in place of Pogba against Liverpool but the France international is set to regain his spot in what is said to be the only change for Mourinho’s side, according to widespread reports. Pogba’s return will be a welcome boost for the Red Devils, who welcomed back Eric Bailly and Maraouane Fellaini from injury on the weekend.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic joined first-team training earlier in the week but hasn’t played since December in a 2-1 defeat to Bristol City. United are favourites to progress to the last-8 but must beat Sevilla to book their passage through. Mourinho described the 0-0 draw in the first leg as ‘not great but not bad’ but United come into the game in good form after a morale-boosting fortnight in which they’ve beaten Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Liverpool.
